out in the wash

The monsoons started today. There was steam, then a quick hot downpour that paused, suspended while everyone held their breath, and now there's a steady rainy drone.

I've also been here exactly three months today.

Korea's changed me, not like graffiti marks up a wall or the way an editor's pen revises a submission - more like replacing the blown-out tire on a long-hauler; I've got a new balance.

It's really lonely here, but it's been worth it so far.

Thumbs up to three months.

Congrats on 3 months, young lady! I'm proud to see you using this time to find the balance you speak of. You definately have the blueprints to be a phenominal woman, and that you are discovering a balance to life while in your 20's is just an added bonus to you.

Hang in there...it won't be long now before you're back and complaining of how boring and predictable being home in Canada is. (but it still is a pretty awesome place to live, I must say!)

Hugs,
Kelly..xo
